What are the payment options?
We accept cash and the following major credit and debit cards. Please note that we do not accept personal cheques.
Is there an advanced booking fee?
If you are a new patient, a booking fee will be required when making your appointment. Please read our full terms and conditions.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
We understand the value of your time and appreciate your consideration of ours. Regrettably, if appointments are cancelled or rescheduled with short notice, or if appointments are missed, we are unable to fill that time slot with another patient. Nevertheless, we incur overhead costs and must meet staff salaries. Please refer to our complete terms and conditions.
Is there a penalty for not attending.
Please note that all patients will be charged a £25 fee for cancelling or rescheduling any appointment (including those without an upfront deposit, such as a check-up or review appointment) less than 48 hours before the scheduled time. Patients who have pre-purchased a course of treatment will forfeit one treatment instead of paying this fee.
Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiture of the appointment. While we strive to keep appointments on schedule, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel or postpone appointments at short notice. In such cases, we will attempt to notify you in advance, but no compensation will be provided.
Please read our full terms and conditions.
Are there appointment reminders?
To help our patients avoid losing their deposit or pre-paid treatments, we send text reminders at least 48 hours before appointments. However, patients should be aware that there might be reasons beyond our control that prevent the text message from being delivered. Therefore, patients should personally diarise their follow-up appointments and not rely solely on the clinic's text message as a reminder.
Booking an appointment
A1 Medical Aesthetics (A1MA) is dedicated to offering exceptional service at competitive prices. Your consultation and treatment will be conducted personally by Dr Azra Khan.
We understand the value of your time and appreciate your understanding of ours. Unfortunately, if appointments are cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, or if you miss an appointment, we are unable to reassign your slot to another patient. Despite this, we still have overhead costs and staff salaries to cover.
All patients must provide credit/debit card details, a telephone number, and an email address to secure an appointment. New patients will be required to pay a booking fee at the time of making their appointment redeemable against treatments (see below for details).
We assure you that all information will be treated confidentially and protected in accordance with Data Protection legislation. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your written consent.
Booking fees for new patients
New patients are charged a one-off £25 fee for all consultations. This fee is fully redeemable against your treatment if you schedule a procedure within 3 months of your consultation date; otherwise, it is not redeemable. Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable if you are late for or fail to attend your appointment without providing 48 hours’ notice. Additionally, the fee will not be refunded if you choose not to proceed with the treatment or are deemed unsuitable for the procedure.
New patients must schedule an initial appointment for a consultation and assessment, followed by a separate appointment for the procedure if they are suitable and choose to proceed. Unless otherwise arranged with the clinic (see below), no treatment will be provided during your first visit.
If you wish to have Botox or dermal filler treatment on the same day as your consultation, a booking fee of £150 is required. This fee covers the longer appointment allocated for you. Please note that this booking fee is non-refundable and only redeemable against your treatment during the same visit as your consultation. Additionally, it will not be refunded if you are late for or fail to attend your appointment without providing 48 hours' notice.
Booking fees for existing patients
This requirement does not apply to existing patients. When booking your appointment, you will be asked to provide your credit/debit card details as confirmation of your commitment to attend. While no upfront booking fee is required to secure an appointment, our clinic’s cancellation and late arrival policies still apply.
Cancellation, failure to arrive for appointments and late arrival
Please be aware that a £25 fee will be charged for cancelling or rescheduling any appointment (including those that do not require an upfront deposit, such as check-ups or review appointments) with less than 48 hours' notice. For patients who have pre-purchased a course of treatment, one treatment will be forfeited instead of paying this fee.
Late arrivals may lead to reduced treatment time or forfeiture of the appointment. We will make every effort to keep your appointment on schedule; however, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice. In such cases, we will attempt to contact you in advance, but no compensation will be provided.
Reminder text messages
To help our patients avoid losing their deposit or pre-paid treatments, we send text reminders at least 48 hours before appointments. However, there may be factors beyond our control that prevent the message from being delivered. Therefore, we recommend that patients personally record their follow-up appointments and not rely solely on the clinic's text message as a reminder.
Notifying the clinic regarding cancellation or request to reschedule
Please note that cancellations can only be made during our opening hours by calling at 0779008768. Emails or voice messages left outside of these hours will not be accepted.
Children
We do not provide treatment for children or young adults under the age of 18. Please do not bring children to the clinic unless they are old enough to be left unsupervised. Children are not permitted in the treatment rooms.
Payment
If you are a new patient, a booking fee will be required when you make your appointment. Payment for treatment is due in full at the time of the procedure. In certain cases, a discretionary deposit may be required for specific treatments, and you will be informed of this during the booking process. We accept cash as well as major credit and debit cards.
Refunds
Fees for treatment cover the delivery of the procedure and the associated services, which include:
While we are committed to providing excellent service, offering factual, honest, and ethical advice, and delivering safe, expert treatment with high-quality products, we cannot guarantee that the results will meet your expectations. This is because each patient has a unique physiology, and their response to a procedure or treatment is individual. Therefore, we cannot offer refunds if the treatment results do not align with a patient's expectations.
